Jewelry care

Jewelry made in our workshop is intended for everyday wear. It makes our days more beautiful, but unfortunately, with wear, it naturally wears out. Below you will learn how to reduce normal wear and tear so that your jewelry looks beautiful even after years.

Jewelry storage

How you store your jewelry is very important. Each piece of jewelry should be stored in a separate box or cloth bag to prevent rubbing and subsequent scratching or damage.

Jewelry and cosmetics

To avoid damaging your jewelry with various products, there is a simple rule: you should only put on your jewelry after applying all cosmetics, creams, perfume, hairspray, etc.
It often happens that products get into jewelry, especially under gemstones.
Pearls can even lose their luster permanently and gemstones can be irreparably damaged. The only option is to replace the pearl or gemstone.

Sports and strenuous physical activities

We recommend removing your jewelry before any activity. This will avoid mechanical and chemical damage. These activities can cause the ring to be scratched, the chain to break, the stone to be pinched or to fall out.

Cleaning jewelry

You can send your jewelry purchased from us for professional cleaning at any time. If you want to clean your jewelry at home, you can fill a small bowl with warm water with a drop of spring water or mild soap and leave the jewelry in it for a few minutes.
hours. Then rinse it in water first and then use the softest toothbrush and dip it in water and then carefully clean the jewelry. Don't forget to clean it from the inside. Especially the holes under the stones on the inside, which are usually the most clogged.
We warn against using any chemicals or cleaning agents.

Tips

1) All known gemstones are susceptible to grease. In the case of diamonds, grease is even used to separate the rough diamond from the rest of the rock as part of the mining process. If you can, try to avoid contact of gemstones with grease. Grease creates a thin film on the surface of the stones that prevents light from passing through the gemstone properly.

2) If possible, set up a jewelry box where your jewelry will be safely separated and divided, for example, depending on what social event you have coming up.

3) Take off your jewelry even at night. You may damage your jewelry while you are sleeping deeply.
